Histoire
A la demande de Sara Pezzini, Lara part à la recherche d'informations sur un artefact connu sous le nom de The Rapture. Elle s'envole pour Rome en quête de renseignements, mais le nom de l'artefact et son symbole provoquent un tel effroi que personne ne daigne lui répondre. En désespoir de cause, Lara contacte Robert Drew, ancien professeur à Gordonstoun et spécialiste en cultures anciennes. Mais les choses tournent mal et, au moment où il lui révèle la nature de l'artefact, le Pr. Drew est enlevé.
